Getting from No to Mo (Farah)

Last month I got the exciting news that I’ve been awarded a place in the 2019 London Marathon. I’m really happy to have this chance, but am no runner and I’ve really got to get started with my training… soon!


I’m putting myself through this to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and to raise awareness of the fantastic work they do with families like mine. We recently lost my younger sister to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and saw first hand the amazing things TCT does to help teenagers and young adults as they are going through the hell of treatment and trying to process the devastating impact of their diagnosis.


I’ve set myself a target to raise £2,000 between now and crossing the finish line at mile 26.2 on Pall Mall on 28th April. As well as the Marathon, I’ve got the team at Horsebridge supporting me with a “Man vs. Food” style donut-eating contest and a series of office fun(draising) days. Don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of pictures to accompany my training updates!


I’m  absolutely determined to cross the finish line and to hit my fundraising target. First things first; I’ve got my fundraising page set up ( and am working to improve my overall fitness before I pull on my running shoes and get started with my marathon training schedule. I’ll be posting regular updates here, so be sure to pop back and see how it’s going.
